About

Concept Overview

The Agua Party is the weekly evening dedicated to afro-latin dance enthusiasts (Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba) who want to combine learning, practice, and good times in an exceptional setting. Every Tuesday night, the Bateau Concorde Atlantique, moored at the foot of the National Assembly and the Musée d'Orsay, transforms into a massive floating dancefloor spread across three levels.

It's one of Paris's largest weekly gatherings of dancers, renowned for its festive atmosphere, the quality of its instructors, and the diversity of its programming. Whether you're a complete beginner eager to learn or a seasoned dancer looking to refine your style, Agua Party offers a complete all-in-one experience: classes, party, and taxi dancers.

Evening Program

The evening is structured in two parts to maximize your dancing pleasure.

1. Dance Classes (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)

Before the party gets into full swing, the evening begins with two hours of dance classes, taught simultaneously in different rooms by instructors recognized on the Paris dance scene. Classes typically cover multiple levels:

  • Cuban / Puerto Rican Salsa

  • Bachata

  • Kizomba

Levels offered are usually:

  • 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Beginner (for complete newcomers) or Intermediate.

  • 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Progressive Beginner (for those with basic knowledge) or Advanced.

The entry package gives unlimited access to all classes during these two hours.

2. Dance Party (9:00 PM - 1:00 AM)

From 9:00 PM onwards, it's time to dance freely. The boat pulses to the rhythm of mixes from several specialized DJs spread throughout the Concorde Atlantique's different flexible spaces. You can move between rooms as you please:

  • Room 1: Salsa Vibes (Cuban and Puerto Rican)

  • Room 2: Bachata Vibes

  • Room 3: Kizomba Vibes (sometimes Kizomba/Urban Kiz)

From May to September, weather permitting, dancing can also take over the boat's rooftop for an unforgettable experience under the Paris sky.

Agua Party Highlights

  • Taxi Dancers: A team of "taxi dancers" (experienced dancers identifiable by a specific t-shirt) is present throughout the evening. Their role is to invite beginners to dance, guide them on the floor, and help build their confidence. This is one of the event's strongest points, guaranteeing an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.

  • Unique Setting: Dance on the Seine with panoramic terraces offering stunning views of the Grand Palais, Pont Alexandre III, the Tuileries, and the Orangerie.

  • Cocktails and Bars: The boat has several bars serving soft drinks, beers, and cocktails (Mojitos are often featured to keep with the Latin theme).
