Living Bachata in Paris: The Guide
Sensual or Dominican?
In Paris, the Sensual influence (originally from Spain) is predominant in the big nights, with many remixed tracks. The Dominican style is celebrated by purists in often more intimate events, driven by the traditional guitar.
Etiquette on the Dance Floor
Since Bachata Sensual involves close proximity, consent and comfort are essential. Leaders are advised to adapt their leading (waves, isolations) to the level and comfort of their partner.
