The Art of
Kizomba
Born in Angola, celebrated worldwide. A dance of pure connection and infinite musicality.
Kizomba means
Party
Emerging from the fusion of traditional Semba and Caribbean Zouk in the 1980s, Kizomba established itself as the "hug dance". It is a slow, fluid walk in which the couple becomes one.
It is not a dance for show, but one of inner sensation. The lead is transmitted through the chest and weight transfer, making every move imperceptible from the outside yet intense within.

"You don't dance Kizomba with your feet, you dance it with your heart."
From Luanda to Paris
Semba
The joyful ancestor. A fast, playful dance full of 'truques' (tricks and games). Essential to understanding the Angolan soul.
Urban Kiz
Born in Paris. Upright posture, linear movements and complex offbeat play. Ideal for modern music and remixes.
Tarraxinha
The art of hip isolation. It is not a traveling dance, but an intense vibration over heavy rhythms.

The Sound
of Ghetto Zouk
From the melancholic voice of C4 Pedro to the polished productions of Nelson Freitas, Kizomba music is an emotional journey between Africa and Europe.
