Cuban
Salsa
The raw energy of Havana. Learn Casino, dance the Rueda and feel the rhythms of Timba.
What is
Casino?
What we call "Cuban Salsa" in Europe is actually known as Casino in Cuba. It's a shared, circular and joyful dance, born in the social circles of Havana.
Unlike linear Puerto Rican salsa, Casino is built on rotation, intricate arm work ("nudos") and a deep grounded connection. It's a street dance: authentic and profoundly social.

The Fundamentals
Three ways to experience Cuban salsa.
Partner Casino
The purest form. A dialogue between two bodies, where the leader guides the follower through smooth, circular pathways.
Rueda de Casino
A wheel of couples performing the same moves on a caller's signal. Collective thrills guaranteed.
Timba & Despelote
When the music surges, everyone lets loose in solo. This is the moment for free, funky expression.
